Mudford Parish Church
St Mary’s

There is no doubt that a Church existed here in Saxon times. Mudford is mentioned in the Domesday Survey 1085.

The Church originally belonged to the Priory of Montacute.

In 1340 it was appropriated to the Dean and Chapter of Wells.
